Incoterms
2000 and the Contracts of Sale - Trade terms constitute
only a part of the contract of sale. While the contract of
sale determines the quantity and quality of the goods and
the price that should be paid for them; trade terms deal with
questions relating to the delivery of the goods both from
the standpoint of the transfer of risks and the physical delivery.
Inco
Terms Detail - "Ex Works" means the seller
delivers when he places the goods at the disposal
of the buyer at the seller's premises or another
named place (i.e. works, factory, warehouse, etc.)
not cleared for export and not loaded on any collecting
vehicle. This term thus represents the minimum
obligation for the seller, and the buyer has to
bear all costs and risks involved in taking the
goods from the seller's premises.
